1 Some helpful tips to maximize the life of your lattice panels

  • When installing your panels ensure they are adequately braced and supported. Remember lattice is a decorative not a structural product. In most situations spans over 3 meters without support should be avoided.
  • If the lattice is being painted then paint both sides, this will prevent uneven moisture absorption that could cause warping.


2.Measuring Up

  • Measure in millimeter ie 1835mm instead of 1.835m or 183.5cm or 6 foot
  • Measure for the finished size needed to fit between your posts or supports
  • Its better to install your posts and then measure your panel sizes
  • Two people measuring can make it easier and more accurate.
  • Always double check your measurement
  • If the posts or supports are out of square measure top and bottom
  • If they are a long way out of square provide diagonal measurements
  • For special shapes provide measurements for all edges and angles if possible
  • Make a sketch with the measurements fax it to us if you can.
  • For special shaped panels we will need a sketch faxed or mailed to us.
